      An integrated entertainment marketing company providing alternative marketing consulting; sponsorship/partnership development services; and the creation of brand-centric entertainment tours and properties.

Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Country Music Association: (November 1984 - August 2007)

      Responsible for the market development and expansion of the country music industry both domestically and internationally including but not limited to brand development, market research, corporate marketing initiatives, marketing communications, member marketing services, CMA Awards viewer promotions/advertising designed to increase ratings, the creation of the first country music themed free standing insert, sponsorship/marketing of the CMA Music Festival/Fan Fair and the development/implementation of the first ever Marketing With Country Music conference co-sponsored by Advertising Age and the America's Sold On Country Tour reaching marketers in conjunction with Brand Week.


                  Launched the CMA Sponsorship Program growing from zero to $3.5 million annually.

                  Developed and implemented a comprehensive corporate marketing strategy for CMA resulting in partnerships with more than 100 companies including Chevy, American Airlines, NBC Daytime, the J.M. Smucker Company, Wrangler and Mary Kay Cosmetics.

                  Working with the City of New York, created the “Country Takes New York City” national event marketing and promotional program surrounding the CMA Awards in New York City (2005) - the first time the CMA Awards television broadcast has traveled outside of Nashville. “Country Takes New York” included partnerships with sports (NFL), Broadway (Broadway Meets Country), fashion, financial, media and entertainment sectors.

                  Developed a successful marketing strategy with “Hollywood” raising awareness for country music among studio, network and cable marketing executives as well as key production personnel and music supervisors.

                  Created and produced New From Nashville (NUNV), an annual promotional showcase tour of country Artists with stops in Dublin, Glasgow and London.

                  Oversaw all off-network advertising and promotions for the CMA Awards and CMA Music Festival network television specials.

                  Managed CMA Licensing Programs and International Television Licensing Programs..

                  Provided consulting services for a diverse population from corporate brands to artists to organizations such as the CARAS (Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences).

National Sales Manager, College Satellite Network: 

      Responsible for the creation and development of a national college affiliate network base for satellite-delivered live events. Duties included development and management of a telemarketing sales force, corporate public relations coordination, print advertising campaigns, corporate sponsorship presentations and corporate strategic planning..

Special Projects Manager, Films Incorporated/PMI: 

      Responsible for implementation of the Chrysler-Plymouth Video Dance Night Tour, music video sales programs and corporate sponsored film and live entertainment events in the college, high school and military markets.
